Over 250 volunteers make Audio-Reader's 24/7 programming possible! We also have volunteer gardeners, event workers, audio describers, administrative volunteers and development volunteers who keep Audio-Reader running. Audio-Reader volunteers have a diversity of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common desire to make newspapers, magazines and books accessible to those who are blind and print disabled.

If you are interested in volunteering please complete our online volunteer application. Audio-Reader holds volunteer orientations and auditions twice a year. Once you complete the volunteer application you will be notified by email about the next round of auditions.
